Mekha exfoliating Cleanser provides dual exfoliation, containing rounded beads of jojoba and bamboo stems to manually remove flakiness on the surface, without micro cutting the skin, while Papaya and Pineapple fruit enzymes and natural salicylate acid (from white willow bark) exfoliate the inner lining of your pores clearing out dullness and congestion for those with acne prone skin.
 
Mekha is a cleanser, exfoliator and mask all in one. The organic raw mango butter and honey creates a perfect marriage of cushiony balm texture giving you complete control over the level of exfoliation you would like. Ancient medicinal plants such as Thanaka, Red ginseng, Lemongrass and Turmeric feed the skin with antiseptic, antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
This buttery cream melts to the touch and rinses completely clean, revealing a supple new surface layer. For mature dry skin use this beauty twice a week to reinforce skin glow.
 
Scent experience: MEKHA is reminiscent of an invigorating culinary aroma from a Southeast Asian kitchen, embodying scents of lemongrass and rosemary.

  • HOW TO USE

    • Gather a dollop of MEKHA in fingertips.
    • In circular motions, start massaging the balm into wet skin.
    • For normal, oily or acne-prone skin, gently massage MEKHA on wet skin allowing the exfoliator to manually removes the top layers of the skin. For sensitive or dry skin, MEKHA can be left on as a mask with no manual exfoliation to gently shed the top layer.
    • To support the exfoliation process, put on a warm towel on skin before rinsing thoroughly with warm water.

    Working in alignment with your body to support its natural processes and help it work its best is my ancestral way of healing, being healthy and aging gracefully. 

    The skin exfoliation process gets a bit slower and sluggish as we age resulting in cell stagnation.  Because of this it is vital that we support the skin by helping slough off the un-useful layers.  Equally important is knowing how sensitive and how much support your skin needs. This varies from person to person, but can be understood with a mindful touch and some attention. And so, I wanted to create a product with options; with a cushion for those with sensitive skin so they can enjoy the exfoliating effect without it being too harsh, while also being able to provide a more vigorous effect for those that need it. Mekha Exfoliating cleanser is the solution.  A balmy texture that will cocoon your skin; you can leave it on and allow the enzymes to work without using the manual scrubbing beads, or you can wet your skin, allowing the manual exfoliator to reveal and physically remove dull layers.

    The products I source for Uncommon Yarrow are made with an incredible amount of care and dedication. They are not made on a large scale, but handmade in tiny batches with intentional, fresh, carefully sourced (and costly) ingredients. Unfortunately that means I am unable to accept returns or exchanges on any products. 

    If you have an issue with your order (e.g. something is damaged, broke during shipping, something looks like it may have gone bad) email me a photo and I'll do my best to make it right. I am unable to offer refunds due to product reactions.
